Scarti California
When I was printing my new book, Águas de Ouro, at EBS in Verona with Radius Books, I noticed the way my photos combined on the metal sheets that were left over after the proofs were made.
On these sheets, called scarti, meaning scraps in Italian, the photos associate and merge by chance to create new and daring compositions. I took them as inspiration for the project I have been working on during the quarantine, called Scarti California.
